My gofundme is to help me afford gas to make regular visits to Lyon County, Iowa. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Department is in charge of her case. I could be wrong, but it really feels like they don't want to put the effort in to solve it.
I'm hoping to get enough money saved to hire a private investigator to look into her case.
There is a 10x10 foot room FULL of paperwork.
There are suspects...one of which is still alive & has failed 3 polygraph tests!
The sheriff's department has amplified DNA from 10 years ago, yet they refuse to even speak to a scientist to discuss if anything new can be done. This amazing woman ( Dr. Colleen Fitzpatrick ) with Identifies International is willing to talk with them at no charge, yet, they aren't interested.
I can't even get an idea of if or when she will be buried again. She was exhumed in 2007 in the hopes of getting DNA. THATS 18 YEARS, I think they've had plenty of time to do what they could with her remains.
Sorry everyone... this is the hardest thing I have EVER had to try to do... I am the ONLY person to fight for her!
